Good Day,
In February 1997, my husband
was diagnosed with an Astrocytoma brain
tumor approximately 9cm in diameter.
He underwent a craniectomy one month
later that changed our lives. They
were not able to remove the entire tumor and
it began to grow again. By September
1997, during a required MRI, the tumor was
nearly 3cm in diameter.
He feared going
through another open brain surgery and his
neurosurgeon only had two suggestions.
They were full brain radiation or Gamma
Knife. After two months of
research, he chose Gamma Knife Radiosurgery
and I am glad he did! In November
1997, he underwent "painless, bloodless
brain surgery" in the morning and was
home at noon having lunch. Needless to
say, we were sold on this state of the
art technology. In October 2001,
the tumor began to grow again and he had
Gamma Knife for the second time. The tumor returned after 8 1/2 years on March 21, 2010, and George had his third Gamma Knife.
As you review our
informative website, please remember it was
designed from a patient and wife's
perspective, not a doctor or surgeon. As
survivors, I am confident if you are a
candidate for our services, we may be able
to help you. Our goal must be to stay
alive until technology is invented to
completely cure us. Until then, Gamma Knife
may be that "miracle" for you,
your family or a friend. It was a
miracle for my husband.
I began
The International Gamma Knife Clinics to
help people find solutions for their
illnesses and recuperate in comfort. Our
goal is to find hope in hopeless situations
and help those looking for cures and
answers. Thank you very much for your
interest in our website.
Sincerely,
